Downtown La Porte: The Vieux Carré is the picturesque downtown of this magical city. Residents and visitors alike clog the streets to participate in the many events always going on around town. Most of the shops that line the streets are locally owned. La Porte is known for it's pristine appearance, fine shops, and large variety of dining.

The Main Street: Rue des Arbres is the main traffic street of La Porte with many of the sights and iconic places in the town being places here. The other five major streets all feed into this one and if you need to find your way, if you find Rue des Arbres, you're likely to be fine.

The Shopping Street: Rue des Jonquils is the main commercial street in La Porte. With shops for your school supplies and daily needs, if it is something you can find inside and does not involve sitting down for a coffee, you're likely to find it in here.

The Dining Street: Whether it be for a romantic dinner or just a meal out with some friends, Rue des Roses is the place where you want to come for that. Offering a wide range of restaurants and eateries, you're sure to find something to tickle your fancy down this street.

The Small Street: Rue des Jacinthes does not really specialise in anything in the way that the others do aside from the fact that everything here is just smaller. Cafés, small bakeries and boutiques replace the restaurants and shops of the more bustling streets. Generally quieter but also more welcoming, the Rue des Jacinthes is a must for anyone wanting to take a load off after a busy day of shopping.

The Entertainment Street: Rue des Houx is a pretty quiet place in the day but it becomes loud and exciting after dark. Lined and full of bars and clubs, the Rue de Houx is where you come to let loose, drink and generally have a really good time without caring about how stupid you probably look.

Beautiful Green Space: A rather large park, Le Jardin d'Eaux is comprised of several small islands connected by a serious of bridges. The garden is a favorite hangout for magical creatures in the community and a hot spot for surprises! The Main Lake: The largest part of the Jardin, Le Lac des Fées is where most of the wider open spaces are as well as a large lake with numerous connections and glades out into the forest for everyone to explore and admire.

The Isles: Within the Jardin there are many small islands and inlets which offer seclusion and also stunning visuals and fun places to hide and have some fun. Numerous hidden pools or bridges connect the islands to the main part of the Jardin but there are more than enough ways to come here and stay well out of sight...

The Dark Park: An unfortunate name for a place that probably does not deserve it, the Parc gets its name because of the shadow that Mount Azelph casts over it but, more recently, reports of higher levels of Dark magic have been detected here and more of an Auror presence has been there than ever before.

With their deep rooted connections and proximity to La Coeur, many families of the students and faculty members reside in the village's neighborhoods, leaving a thriving community nothing more than a brooms length away. The Ministry connects the American government to the wizarding world. The headquarters of the Ministry are in Vieux Carre Magique. It is headed by the Minister for Magic.

All That's Sweet: Nothing is sweet for Honey Island, the despicable district of La Porte cut off from the good minded civilization of La Porte. Under no circumstances are students from Le Coeur are allowed in Honey Island; if caught, the consequences can run as high as immediate removal from Le Coeur grounds. In fact, Le Coeur even frowns upon faculty involvement in the Honey Island district but alas they have no grounds to discipline adults. The foulest of foul call Honey Island home, and let it be clear: Honey Island is not for the faint of heart.

Skull Island: The island that the Dark Arts faction took their name from is the largest place within Honey Island and it is generally not perceived to be a good idea to come into this place unattended and without any expectation of danger. Eerie mist and anxiety hangs heavy in the air and you would be foolish to so readily dismiss that.

The Nightmare Wood: Gone is the security and levity of the trees of the Jardin d'Eaux. Instead it is replaced by the danger and dread of the forest here.
