A northern borough of the capital, Camden is well known for it's famous market and smaller attractions from the centre of London.

A smaller borough in the north, Tottenham is known mostly for it's football team and small shops and streets.

Waltham Forest is a London borough in NE London, England. The south of the borough contrasts markedly with the north in terms of its mixed ethnicity and socio-economic indicators, and is often regarded as part of London's East End.

Working Class: The residences in North London are more affordable than those in the City Centre. There are more houses available than in the city. Some might even get a garden.

Stratford is located in the East End of London and is undergoing regeneration to become a significant cultural and commercial centre. It is home to the London Olympic Park, which was built for the London 2012 Olympics.

Greenwich is notable for its maritime history and for giving its name to the Greenwich Mean Time. It is also home to the O2 Arena and the surrounding entertainment complex.

Located to the east of Waltham Forest, much of Hackney maintains its inner-city character and in places like Dalston large housing estates now sit side-by-side with gated communities. In South Hackney, near Victoria Park, there are terraced Victorian and Edwardian housing.

Working Class: The residences in London's East End are more affordable than those in the City Centre. There are more houses available than in the city but blocks of flats are still common, especially on council estates.

The heart of London, The City is the central hub of the city where many business and famous landmarks can be located and visited.

Oxford Street and the area surrounding it is the central shopping district of London. Here you'll find designer stores alongside the best clubs and restaurants the city has to offer.

London's West End is known worldwide for it's theatres and their productions. Theatreland is the area of London to visit if you're looking for entertainment of any kind.

City Living: Accommodation in Central London is limited to flats and apartments. Living in Central London can be pricey and many people choose to have housemates so they can split the cost of rent.

One of west London's key transport hubs and commercial and employment centres, and home to several multinational company offices and has a large shopping centre, Kings Mall.

Westminster lies on the North Bank of the River Thames and a large concentration of London's historic and prestigious landmarks can be found here.

Largely seen as the most affluent and upper class part of London, Chelsea boast a number of high end shops, restaurants and bars as well as other attractions including the football team, Chelsea FC.

The Upper Class: Places to rent and buy in London's West End are incredibly pricey, the bigger townhouses and flats can cost in the millions. Only the fabulously rich can afford to live here.

Located to the South of the Thames, Southwark is a fastly recovering borough of the city with borders to The City and Greenwich as well as features and arena of its own.

London's largest and southernmost borough, Croydon is a large hub for financial and business progression as well as serving as a transport link to the south of the United Kingdom.

Bordering west London, Wandsworth is a relatively small borough that is slowly growing and home to the infamous Wandsworth Security Prison.

Working Class: South London residences are getting steadily more expensive but are still more affordable than Central London and the West End. Crime rates can be high, though.
