The Windward Coast - These residential communities spread along the infamous Kamehameha Highway, and features many iconic valleys and cliffs, and great walking trails. Tourists wander this ways for the sights, but the towns are usually untouched.

The Leeward Side - In relation to Honolulu, this area is known as the 'second city' of Oahu. This side of the island is home to a lot more resorts, and family friendly beaches. It also lies at the bottom of the Waianae mountain range.
