Just keep writing, even when you don't feel like it because eventually you will find your stride! That is what happened to moi. Still aim for 50K! You never know! I feel like I'm going to catch up, but even if I don't, I know I gave it all I have!

What has also helped me is the write for 30 mins, take a break, and do another 30 mins interval. This helps me focus less on the word count, which in turn does help me get there faster. So try different strategies! I even try to sneak in at least 500 words at work.

50,000 words, YAHOO I have done it! Seriously so excited right now! If I can do it, you guys can, too! 5 days left, LET'S DO THIS!

Congrats !!! I just broke 40K yesterday. I am so very happy the holidays are coming up so that I can really dig in and finish. I feel confident that I will finish before Saturday.

Who is doing it this year?

I really want to this year, but since I'm studying for my CPA exam and I have to put in around ten hours a week on that, at least, on top of working a full time job, I don't think I'll really have the time (or the energy) to do this too. Next year!
