I set myself a requirement to write something before bed every night! Either a post or part of my novel, or part of a short. The routine helps.

Phoebe is the only one with that kind of discipline. I go weeks without posting sometimes. Oops.

Well you see the trick is, since I now have a streak of writing every day for so many years I've lost count, I will never survive the guilt if I forget to post, so now I HAVE to post no matter what or I've ended a run of writing that goes back to at LEAST 2019.

I am tired and it's not even the weekend, but I still live so yay. How are things for you now?

I’m doing okay, baby girl is almost a month old and she’s doing well. I’m still struggling post surgery but feeling much better than I was!

I’m hoping at some point during maternity leave I’ll have time for something other than sleeping and feeding baby ��

It's good you're heeling! It is probably the sleeping that helps so do more of that!
