Percy Jackson's Greek Gods - Rick Riordan.
Basically, it's Percy Jackson telling the different Greek myths. It's so interesting and entertaining! I love it.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
My millionth re-read and I'm finally at the halfway mark in the series! The next three are just so big, though. I read quickly, but I don't take as much time out for it as I should. |

The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker.
I've been on an awesome reading kick (seven books in July, bam!) because I decided to use the randomiser for my tbr list, since I'm super indecisive. I've been wanting to read this one for a couple of months and I'm only about four chapters in, but loving it so far! It's a mix of Jewish and Arabian mythology set in early twentieth century NYC |

Special topics in Calamity Physics - by Marisha Pessl
Technically I finished it on Sunday. It's an interesting story...because it's sort of a murder mystery novel that doesn't read like one. It's more like what would come out if you put Catcher in the Rye in a blender with a dash of Lolita and a sprinkling of a Hitchcock movie. It sounds weird but it works. It really does. Even if by the end it actually leaves more questions than answers.

"The Scorch Trials" by James Dashner
Since I finished The Maze Runner and this one gets a movie, I figured I should read it before I see the movie!

A Clash of Kings - George RR Martin
I got a craving a couple of months back to give the books a go, timed with my unintentional fall into serious Game of Thrones flailing. I polished off the first novel on the train to and from school through September, and now I'm halfway through this one. It's really interesting to remind myself of the earlier plots and get the book's version of characters and how events took place. I'm loving it and every time I get a chance to, I read a little more.

"The Heir of Fire" by Sarah J. Maas
I don't even know how I found this author, but this trilogy is beautiful. I love the world that it's in and while I don't particularly care much for the female protagonist, I am dying because the ship I ship is sinking. AS ALWAYS.

Far From You by Tess Sharpe. It's about a 16 year old recovering (prescription) drug addicted teenager who's trying to solve the murder of her girlfriend, which she witnessed. Everyone blames her for it because they think the murder was drug related and that they were in this sketchy place for her to score, but she was clean and sober for over six months prior.
I honestly only started reading it because I knew the protagonist was bisexual and involved with a girl. I need diverse books! Anyway, I'm really enjoying it and surprising myself because I thought I hated mysteries |
