I've read The Hobbit twice, but now that the movies are coming out, I want to read them again! Which reminds me that I have to get it on dvd, I loved the movie! As for LotR, I haven't read the series :x LOL! I guess I'd say I'm more of a fan of the films, but I too plan on reading the books.

I read The Hobbit when I was in the fourth grade (so... 12 years ago) and then again in December before I went to see the movie. I remembered practically nothing from the first time 'round, and adored it on the second read Haha, but in that case I'm definitely a massive LOTR fan, too! I try to marathon the films every few months actually. Each time I do, I tell myself I'll start on the books. One of these days it'll actually happen

Gah, I'm a little bit mental when it comes to football (soccer, sorry XD), but I'm in the same boat there sort of! I got obsessive about it in 2010, but I didn't start following domestic leagues until after the Euro last year. Very few things can make me as emotional as football (I cried my heart out when Germany lost to Spain in 2010). And YES, I can hardly wait for next year It's a shame there isn't a major international tournament every year, really

I know what you mean, it sucks waiting every 2 or 4 years for a major tournament. Every time they finish, I feel like my life has no meaning anymore LOL!

I do want to try a bit of shooting actually! I know in Mass Effect (where my av and sig are from) it's third person shooting, so I hope that qualifies for some experience lol!
