what are you reading? As simple as telling us what you are currently reading and what you think of it.

I'm kind of a nerd and am in a book club. It's been over a year and a half and we started off really strong by reading really GREAT books and sadly they've shifted gears and keep bringing the same crap to the table.

In the past few months we've read:
50 Shades of Grey
Beautiful Disaster
The Edge of Never
and now Captive in the Dark.


They all have the same theme. Woman being dominated by men. Women being weak and if its not the main female character they are considered sluts/whores. Most of these books are dubbed "Mommy porn" and apparently are great for your sex life because they turn you on....maybe I'm dead inside cuz I didn't get that feeling. I thought the books were all horribly written, stupid story lines, and just didn't make very much sense.

I also find it appalling that a bunch of 30 year old married women want to read this type of smut month after month. Sure its not bad to read it once in a while but c'mon man. Maybe their sex lives suck donkey balls and need to turn to written porn to get them off?

I dunno.
